VINEYARD NOTES
Crafted from a selection of vineyards across Napa Valley-including estate sites in the Southern Foothills and Stags Leap border-the TD-9 blend reflects varied terroir. These vineyards yield balanced fruit, ripening beautifully under Napa's sun. Extended aging in new oak (e.g., 100% new French barrels for 2022) ensures structural depth and aromatic integration, while thoughtful sourcing preserves the wine's energetic, terroir-driven essence.
TASTING NOTES
The 2022 shows ripe red plum, violet, red and black cherry, rhubarb, and graphite on the nose-balanced between opulence and vibrancy. Flavors include dried cherry, blackberry, licorice, cocoa, and wet slate minerality, with seamless tannins and expressive acidity. The 2021 vintage reveals black cherries, black currant, chocolate, star anise, plus refined, soft tannins and a lingering finish. Both vintages are structured, elegant, and built to age gracefully.
