Matarromera Prestigio is an expressive red from Ribera del Duero's Golden Mile, made only in exceptional vintages. Crafted from 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo), it undergoes 18 months of oak ageing-nine in French, nine in American barrels-followed by extended bottle rest. The result is a powerful yet elegant wine, reflecting both the intensity of ripe fruit and refined barrel spice, designed for admirers of depth and aging finesse.

VINEYARD NOTES
Sourced from a special, single plot of carefully selected vines, planted in loamy clay soils at 730-790 m elevation within Ribera del Duero's Golden Mile. These 20-year-old, goblet-trained vines are hand-harvested and managed for limited yields. Agriculture is traditional, enhancing concentration and minerality, and allowing the vineyard's expressive character to shine through in this powerful yet balanced expression.
TASTING NOTES
The wine shows deep cherry-red with black hues. Intensely aromatic, offering ripe blackberries, licorice, cinnamon, and balsamic undercurrents. On the palate, it delivers powerful, sweet tannins with excellent acidity, meaty weight, and a long, harmonious finish that echoes its aromatic profile with complexity and poise. It elegantly marries the persuasion of fruit with refined wood influence.
