Louis Michel & Fils' four Montmain vineyards extend along a clay slope known for being sensitive to spring frosts. We pay careful attention here when the frost season occurs. The wines are particularly fine and balanced, expressing citrus and white flower notes during their youth, depending on vintages.

Montmain exudes a combination of ripe, candied flavours and fresher saline notes: spicy floral aromas, toasted almonds, candied lemon and apple. The palate is lively, chalky, pure, and accessible, with no artifice.
