VINEYARD NOTES
Sourced within the Valencia DO, where Monastrell thrives on poor, well-drained soils under warm days and cooling sea-breeze influence. Hand-picked fruit undergoes controlled fermentation before dual maturation: months in French oak to season spice and in ceramic vessels to refine texture. Low-yielding vines and sustainable practices favor concentration without heaviness, capturing brightness and Mediterranean identity in equal measure.
TASTING NOTES
Deep aromas of blackberry, blue-black plum and mulberry unfold with licorice, wild thyme and a dusting of cocoa. On the palate, generous dark fruit is sculpted by firm, ripe tannins and a savory, ferrous edge. Medium-plus body, steady acidity and a smooth midpalate lead to a long, warming finish marked by clove, dried herbs and orange-tinged bittersweet chocolate.
