Cirsion is one of Rioja’s most extraordinary wines, born from a rare natural phenomenon first identified by Bodegas RODA in 1995. Certain old bush vines yield grapes with such unique concentration and silkiness that they taste closer to fine wine than fruit. From these exceptional bunches, selected “one in a thousand,” Cirsion is created—an expression of volume, elegance, and unparalleled fruit complexity.
The 2020 vintage, despite a challenging growing season, produced wines of remarkable concentration and finesse. Cirsion 2020 is composed of 88% Tempranillo and 12% Graciano, aged for just eight months in 100% new French oak to preserve purity and texture. The result is a wine of incredible silkiness, layered black and red fruit, delicate spice, and fine tannins that linger with freshness and length.
