VINEYARD NOTES
The grapes for Textbook Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon are sourced from select vineyards within the Paso Robles AVA, particularly from areas known for their optimal growing conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon. Paso Robles is characterized by its diverse topography, ranging from rolling hills to flatlands, with elevations between 700 to 2,000 feet. The region experiences a significant diurnal temperature variation, with hot days and cool nights, which is ideal for developing the complex flavors and maintaining the acidity of the grapes.

TASTING NOTES
Textbook Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon presents a deep ruby color in the glass, indicative of its richness and concentration. On the nose, it offers an inviting bouquet of blackcurrant, blackberry, and ripe plum, intertwined with subtle notes of cedar, tobacco, and a hint of vanilla from oak aging. The palate is full-bodied and well-structured, showcasing flavors of dark fruits such as cassis and black cherry, complemented by nuances of mocha, spice, and earthy undertones. The wine's tannins are firm yet velvety, providing a balanced mouthfeel and a lingering finish. The vibrant acidity ensures freshness and suggests excellent aging potential.
