Founded in 1989 by cousins, winemaker Martin Shaw and Master of Wine Michael Hill Smith, Shaw + Smith make wine exclusively from the Adelaide Hills. Succulent wine with beautiful perfume, bright raspberry and Boysen berry notes, and elegant tannins.  
 
Aromas of whole-bunched crushed berries with a whiff of charred red meat. Succulent blackberry, cherry, and red currant fruit accentuated with savory herbs, peppercorn, and a hint of menthol. More about balance than sheer power. Meaty tannins with cleansing acidity on the back end.
