THE WINE
Alsace Pinot Blanc in the house's Grande Réserve tier, conceived for gastronomic versatility. Cool stainless-steel fermentations and careful lees work emphasize purity, tension and a fine, creamy glide. The style is dry, crisp and luminous, channeling orchard fruit and white flowers with a subtle almond lift. Made to showcase clarity over oak signature, it aligns with contemporary Alsace: aromatic, food-friendly and impeccably clean, with an elegant finish that invites another sip.
VARIETAL COMPOSITION
Pinot Blanc 100%.
VINEYARD NOTES
Fruit sourced across trusted growers from Thann in the Haut-Rhin to Kintzheim in the Bas-Rhin, mostly flat, well-drained sites. Maison Pierre Sparr oversees sustainable viticulture and hand harvesting; no irrigation. Fermented at low temperature in stainless steel to capture freshness, then rested on fine lees for texture and poise. The selection aims for consistent style: ripe yet lively fruit, precise aromatics and a balanced, refreshing profile true to Alsace Pinot Blanc.
TASTING NOTES
Fragrant notes of green apple, pear and white blossom open to hints of lemon zest and raw almond. The palate is dry, lifted and finely textured, with crisp orchard fruit, quince and a gentle chalky snap from time on lees. Medium body with a smooth, mouth-coating feel and bright, linear acidity. The finish is clean and refreshing, subtly saline, leaving echoes of pear skin and citrus pith.
