Dry Creek Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is rich in concentrated black cherry, plum, blackberry and currant flavors build up a velvety, yet firm and powerful finish with fine weight.
Vineyard sources were Rafanelli Vineyard and Peterson Vineyard, farmed by Doug Rafanelli and Fred Peterson respectively, both on the steep hillsides of northwest Dry Creek Valley, high above the valley floor off West Dry Creek Road. The final blend contains 2% each of Cabernet Franc and Malbec, also farmed by Fred Peterson.
Barrel aging was 20 months in 100% French oak, with 25% new oak (mainly from the cooperages Taransaud and François Frères).
