The Alpasión Old School is a limited edition wine that is not produced every year. Comprised of a blend of grapes, and sometimes vintages, it is aged for a minimum of 24 months in traditional French Bordeaux barrels. This aging process gives the wine the potential to age for decades. Additionally, the wine is matured for at least one year in the bottle, allowing it to be enjoyed immediately with some decanting. The wine has a vibrant ruby red color with hues of violet. It exudes an alluring aroma of ripe black fruit and spice, intermingled with hints of leather, smoke, and kalamata olive.
