VINEYARD NOTES
The vineyard for the Guida Pinot Grigio is located in the hills between Buttrio and Manzano, in the province of Udine, within the Friuli Venezia Giulia region of northeastern Italy. This area is part of the Friuli Colli Orientali DOC, a prestigious wine-growing region known for its high-quality white wines, particularly Pinot Grigio. These soils are well-draining and rich in minerals, which contribute to the complexity and depth of the wine. The cool climate of the region, influenced by the nearby Alps and the Adriatic Sea, provides ideal conditions for the slow ripening of the grapes, allowing them to develop a balanced acidity and a rich aromatic profile

TASTING NOTES
The Guida Pinot Grigio offers a delightful sensory experience, starting with its straw yellow color accompanied by subtle coppery reflections, a hallmark of well-crafted Pinot Grigio wines. On the nose, the wine is intense and fruity, with pronounced aromas of pear, apple, and citrus fruits, complemented by delicate hints of white flowers. These aromatic notes are a testament to the cool climate and mineral-rich soils of the Friuli Colli Orientali region, which allow the Pinot Grigio grapes to develop a complex and expressive bouquet. On the palate, the wine is dry, fresh, and well-balanced, with a lively acidity that enhances its crispness and drinkability. The flavors of pear and apple carry through from the nose to the palate, accompanied by a refreshing citrus zest that adds brightness to the wine.
